TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the Township Horton will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at the Township Municipal Office to consider a proposed new Development Charges By-law for The Township of Horton. The provisions of the Development Charges Act require that a new By-law be adopted every ten years. As required by the Act, a Background Study has been completed by the Township to support the new By-law. The By-law and Notice have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O. 1997, c. 27, as amended and its Regulations.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Development Charges By-law.
A COPY of the Development Charges Background Study is available for inspection during regular office hours at the Township Office, and a copy of the Draft By-law will be available no later than August 28, 2024, as required under Section 12.(1)(c) of the Development Charges Act.
